My practice is not far from UAB, in Birmingham's Southside (please see map).

Northbound on Hwy. 31:

If you are northbound from Hwy. 31 (which includes coming from Hwy. 280) you can exit at Arlington Avenue right after passing through Red Mountain. Continue turning right until you come to a stop sign in front of Arlington Avenue.  Turn right onto Arlington and go about 40 feet downhill. There will be a little black sign that says "Adult and Child Development Professionals” on your left near the entrance to the parking lot.

Southbound on Hwy. 31:

If you are southbound on Hwy. 31 you need to exit at University Blvd., (the old 8^th Ave. South), turning right at the bottom of the exit onto University Blvd. and continuing until 20th street.  Turn left onto 20th street and continue uphill.  Go straight through Five Points South (big intersection with lots of restaurants and a fountain) until you come to Highland Ave. (look for the Chick-Fil-A).  Turn left onto Highland Ave. and continue straight until you pass under a bridge.  After the bridge my office is in the third building on the right.  There will be a little black sign that says "Adult and Child Development Professionals” where you can turn right into the parking lot.

Northbound on I-65:

Exit onto University Blvd., (the old 8^th Ave. South), and continue straight until 20^th street.  Turn right onto 20^th street and go straight through Five Points South (big intersection with lots of restaurants and a fountain) until you come to Highland Ave. (look for the Chick-Fil-A).  Turn left onto Highland Ave. and continue straight until you pass under a bridge.  After the bridge my office is in the third building on the right.  There will be a little black sign that says "Adult and Child Development Professionals” where you can turn right and enter the parking lot.

Southbound on I-65:

Take exit 259B to merge onto 4^th Ave. South.  Continue straight and turn right on 20^th street.
